Two brothers, one shared dream – that of becoming a professional soccer player. When one of both is selected to play for a top soccer club, he discovers the glamourous yet deceitful world of top class soccer. The other brother’s soccer dream is shattered, however, and he has no choice but to find another way to make something of his life. And one thing is certain: both brothers and their family will find out that there’s a price to be paid for success. Will their love for each other turn out to be stronger than the call of money and fame? Spitsbroers is a coming of age story about brotherly love, about success and failure, about growing up and the choices you make.

     

Spitsbroers got a Special Jury Mention at Séries Mania festival in Paris, 2015. It was also nominated for De Vlaamse Televisie Sterren in 2016 for best series and best actor.
