International sales title: The Pond

Christiane and her ill mother live in a castle together with her strict aunt. On the premises, there’s a big pond that hides a dark secret. Although she is not allowed to come near it, the pond has a big attraction on Christiane.

The Pond is a 15 minute short horror & mystery film.

The Pond won the Sabam Jury Award at Brussels International Festival of Fantastic Film (BIFFF) 2015, opening night special presentation International Short Film Festival Leuven (2014, Belgium), Newport Beach Filmfestival (2015, US), Seoul International Youth Festival (2015, South-Korea), won ‘Best of Fest’ at Sacramento Horror Fest (2015,US), Best Short at Jaipur Short Film Festival (2015, India), Special Jury Mention at Transilvania International Film Festival (2016, Romania), nominated for the Ensor for Best Flemish Short (2015) and selected at numerous festivals around the globe.
